• The swim meet will run in normal event order – this means the 6 & Under events will not run first, they will be run in their normal sequence.
• Swimmers should arrive by 5:00 for warm ups at 5:30.
• Swimmers should be  check in and be numbered when they arrive so warm ups can start on time. The swimmer check in table will be located near the entrance of the pool. Please make sure to check in when you arrive at the pool.
• Parking is allowed on the streets near the Regency Park pool if the lot is full.  Please do not park on the side of the street with fire hydrants.
• Regency has requested swimmers NOT write all over their bodies with Sharpie as it transfers to their chairs they have on their pool deck.

Scratches and No-Shows

We’re entering the height of vacation season and the weeks around the 4th of July holiday are typically a time when many MacDolphins scratch.  As of 6/24 we only have 19 MacDolphins on the Regency Park scratch list.

Please don’t wait until the last minute, if your swimmer(s) won’t be at the meet and haven’t scratched yet, please do so ASAP. If you aren’t sure, double check the Regency Park scratch list to make sure your swimmer is listed. The scratch system has been improved to include a confirmation e-mail once the scratch has been entered into the system.

Will your swimmer(s) arrive late or leave early? The MacDolphins’ scratch list allows for “partial scratches” to accommodate those swimmers who will only be a part of a swim meet. If you know you swimmers will miss a portion of the meet, please enter a partial scratch or note it on the e-mail or text message.

NOTE: Telling one of the coaches at swim practice that your swimmer(s) will not be at a meet does not mean they are on the scratch list – you still need to submit your scratch using the web site, email, or text message.

Volunteers

Please check the Regency Park Job Job Assignment page to see where you can help.  We are still in need of a few volunteers to fully staff the Olive Chapel swim meet.  All families are asked to volunteer for four (4) positions during the season.

• Team pictures will be taken before the meet.  Swimmers who want an individual picture should be at the pool no later than 3:30.  All swimmers need to be at the pool by 4:15 for the team picture.
• Swimmers should be  check in and be numbered when they arrive so warm ups can start on time after the team picture. The swimmer check in table will be located near the entrance of the pool. Please make sure to check in when you arrive at the pool.
• 6 & Unders will swim all of their events first.
• The MDCC snack bar will not be serving food during the swim meet, only candy will be sold from the snack bar. Food will be available for purchase from the Home Swim Meet menu which will be set up under the awning in the baby pool enclosure.
