MacGregor Downs Country Club is home to the MacDolphins swim team. Located in the MacGregor Downs subdivision in Cary, North Carolina, the MacDolphins have a rich history in the summer swimming community.
The MacDolphins were well established by 1972, we were among the first to help establish the governing body of summer league swimming competition, Tarheel Swimming Association (TSA). MDST is also one of the original hosts, with Cary Swim Club and Scottish Hills for the Cary City Invitational.
Over the years, as MacGregor and surrounding Cary have grown we have gone from being the “team with the little green suits” that you “have to go all the way to Cary” to swim – to the team with the beautiful location lakeside with the nice breeze and the friendliest and most fun competition.
Our current reputation within the swimming community is reflected in the membership, the swimmers and the coaches. MDST is truly a place to make friends, enjoy swimming, and have fun all summer.
