This week the posted results include any DQs that were recorded.  There were a couple places where the information on the DQ sheets wasn’t real clear so there is a small chance the DQ was assigned to the wrong swimmer.  The majority of the DQs this week were in the breast stroke events.

Scratches and No-Shows

Unfortunately we had a quite a few no-shows and very late scratches for the Park Village meet.  If your swimmer(s) will not be at the meet, please let us know!

Messages sent to the scratch@macdolphins.org email address or the 919-410-6322 text number automatically get forwarded to Coach Elyse and several other people  so it is the best way to let us know.  Please do not call the MDCC pool and leave a message with the guard staff as those messages rarely make it to the swim team.

Tuesday July 19th is the final swim meet of the 2011 Summer Season.  ,The MacDolphins host the Devereaux Devil Rays and will also recognize our seniors after the completion of the breast stroke events.

Overall we had a very good meet with only one glitch in the timing system. Unfortunately we did have a couple issues with Regency Park timers forgetting to use our watches to time the MDCC swimmers when they swam in a Regency lane.  The posted results do not account for any DQs that may have occurred and based on the score sheet.

Scratches and No-Shows

Another excellent week from the MacDolphins.  For the second week in row we only had one (1) no-show!  Another HUGE THANKS to all parents for getting your scratches and “unscratches” in.  Like last week, this is impressive with the meet being delayed from Tuesday to Wednesday.  Having an accurate heat sheet really makes the jobs for the Kid Pushers, Clerk of Course, and Timing Console much, much easier.  Thanks again!
