To register for MacMinnies visit the MacGregor Downs web site and do the following:

1. Login with with your MDCC User Id (which is different than your MacDolphins Id)
2. Click “Pool” on the top menu navigation bar.
3. Choose “Swim Team” on the left side navigation bar.
4. Select “Register for MacMinnies” from the main Swim Team page

The program begins Monday 6/13 with evaluations from 9-10.

If you missed Swim Team Orientation, you’ll have a chance to meet the coaches, order spirit wear, sign up for volunteer positions, and buy your team swim suit.

We encourage everyone to complete their swimmer registration online prior to the Orientation session if possible but we’ll have a couple computers on hand to assist new families or help returning families.

The MacDolphins on Facebook

The MacDolphins now have a Facebook “Fan Page”.  If you are Facebook user visit this page and “Like It” to receive MacDolphins news as part of your Facebook feed.

Logging in with Facebook Credentials

You can now use your Facebook login credentials on the MacDolphins web site.  For new users, you can “Register” using your Facebook Credentials for login.  For existing users there is a step to link your existing MacDolphins username to your Facebook login credentials.  To do this, perform the following steps:

• Login to the MacDolphins with your existing username and password.  If you have forgotten your username or password, please use the password reset process.
• Visit your web site Profile.  You can get to profile in a couple ways.
• From the front page of the web site, look in the upper left hand corner for your username and use the menu to select “Edit Profile”.
• From the Dashboard, look for the “Your Profile” menu on the left side menu bar.

• On your profile, look for the Connect with Facebook button.

• Clicking the “Connect this WordPress account to Facebook” button which will either prompt you to provide your Facebook username and password or will simply automatically perform the login if you are already logged into Facebook.

This process is fairly new so if you have any problems, don’t hesitate to contact Mike Walsh for help.  You can also create a new registration with your Facebook account if you’d prefer but before you add any new swimmers, please contact Mike so he can reassign your existing swimmers from your old profile to a new profile.

1. Login to the MacDolphins.org web site. If you have forgotten your username and/or password, visit the Password Lost and Found link to have it resent and sent to you.
2. Once logged in, visit the Swim Team Profile to update your information. Make sure to include your Member Number so our registration and billing process is smoother this coming season than it was last season.
3. The T-shirt size on the Profile Page is your size, not your child’s size. Your child’s t-shirt size is part of their profile! Make sure you update it as well as many of the kids have grown quite a bit since last season.

The 2010 Cary City Meet will be held on Saturday, July 17th at Scottish Hills Swim Club.  Scottish Hills is located near the intersection of Cary Parkway and Lake Pine, very close to MDCC.  The Cary City Meet (CCM) is handled differently from regular Tuesday night meets.  For all meets except CCM, swimmers are assumed to be participating unless they are scratched from the meet.  For CCM, swimmers must explicitly register to participate.

All MacDolphins are encouraged to participate!

CCM is a fun day and great chance to swim against swimmers and teams the MacDolphins never compete against.

Fees

There is a $10 fee per MacDolphin to participate in CCM which helps swim team cover the costs of registration and snacks.  The fee is billed to your MDCC account.

Registration

The CCM registration process is essentially the same as the process used to scratch from a swim meet but instead of scratching, you register.  Detailed step by step instructions can be found on the CCM Registration page.   The alternative (easy?) way is to simply send an e-mail to carycitymeet@macdolphins.org!
