It takes upwards of 30 volunteers to run each swim meet. Timers, judges, announcers, kid pushers, pizza sellers, etc. – it takes a lot of people to have a meet come off smoothly. As the parent of a swimmer, you are expected to volunteer at 3 times during the season.
