What is the Cary City Meet?
- This is an invitational swim meet. Up to 25-40 teams are invited to an all day swim meet
- Ages 6-10 swim in the morning, starting at 8:15am. Warm-ups can start up as early as 7am with 20min. session. The morning session usually finishes around 1pm
- Ages 11 – 18 swim in the afternoon, starting around 2:15pm (depending on when the morning session finishes). Warm-ups start up around 1pm, with 20min sessions. The afternoon session finishes up around 7/8pm

- VOLUNTEERS: are needed for this event. We supply parent volunteers for our tent area (kid pushers, AM & PM tent supervisors, set-up & take down, etc.) We are also responsible for supplying volunteers that CCM assign to us. We do not know those positions until the Coaches meeting which is after the Registration due date, July 6th.
- FOOD-parents are asked to donate some food items. There are a lot of vendors at the CCM to purchase from as well
- Points are awarded to 1-16 places to individual and relay events. All heats can win points, not just the “main” heat.
- 2011 date is Saturday, July 16th with a rain date of Sunday, July 17th
- Each club is assigned a designated area to set up for their swimmers & supporters!
- Location is at Cary Swim Club, 536 Walnut St, Cary (behind Cary High School)
