Next Tuesday the MacDolphins will swim against Scotts Mill at MacGregor Downs. Scotts Mill has 175 swimmers so they are similar in size to the MacDolphins although they tend to have a lot fewer scratches. As of this posting, the MacDolphins have 48 scratches.
We are working with Scotts Mill in advance in an effort to run the meet more efficiently however the software we use is not completely compatible with the software Scotts Mill uses. It does not look like we can optimally fill all of the lanes in order to run the least number of heat races as possible as we were able to do with Glenridge and Kildaire Farms. This may result in a few more heats being run than we’d like but there isn’t much we can do about it.
We still need to make sure that we know if your swimmers will be scratched from the Scotts Mill meet ASAP. The coaches will do their preliminary heat sheet on Friday.
Scratches
It is 4th of July holiday week and a lot of people are traveling. It is important that you scratch if you will not be at the Scotts Mill meet. Please refer to the process for scratching from a meet if you will not be at the Scotts Mills meet (or any other meet as well).
